Minister of State for Petroleum Mossadegh Malik warned of serious consequences for those who create an artificial crisis by stockpiling petroleum products.

While giving a press conference in Islamabad, Mossadegh Malik said that there is no shortage of petroleum products in the country, we have a stock of 20 days of petrol and 29 days of diesel.

Mossadegh Malik said that the lack of petroleum products in the country is due to hoarding.

He said, “I ask those who are hoarding petroleum products to stop today, otherwise they will face grave consequences. Whoever is involved in hoarding will have their license revoked. The state will take action, then you the people.” They will sit down and hold press conferences.

Regarding the power failure that occurred in the country a few days ago, the Minister of State for Petroleum said that the work on the causes of the power failure has been completed, and I will submit the report to the Prime Minister within two days .

Mossadeq Malik said that the issue of buying oil from Russia will be settled by the end of March and it is expected that oil will start arriving in the country from Russia from April.

It may be recalled that for several days the news of shortage of petroleum products in various cities of Punjab and limited supply of petroleum products at pumps in various cities including Lahore has been spreading.
