Speaking at a meeting in Karaikudi, BJP national leader JP Natta said DMK is a party that does not like federalism and should elect leaders educated in Tamil Nadu.
BJP National President JP Natta met the media after attending a consultative meeting of state district administrators at Karaikudi in Sivaganga district. He said, “I have come here hoping to receive the grace of Ramanathapuram Swami. I am very proud to come to Tamil Nadu, the birthplace of traditional Thiruvalluvar. Modi likes federalism, Modi has great respect for Tamil Nadu and thus has allocated more funds for the development of Tamil Nadu. I have been meeting a lot of young men and women for the past two days. All of them are interested in joining the BJP,” he said.
Also, talking about DMK, he said, “DMK culture is bribery. DMK stands for money distribution, succession politics, Kattapanjayat. The country has seen tremendous growth under Modi’s regime. Sivagangai district has been home to Congress MP for many years. But this region is very backward region in Tamil Nadu. What have they done so far? What are they going to do?” He also questioned.
“BJP party in India has been a party with many successes and advantages for the society and the most important party in the country. We will support its development because of our love for the people of Tamilnadu. Yesterday I saw some videos related to AIIMS. Annamalai will give you complete views on it, please select educated leaders,” he advised.
“Yesterday I said that 164 crores more money has been allocated for AIIMS work, if you want to know about it you should read about it first, that is why I am saying that we should elect educated leaders in Tamil Nadu. Only then will they know what I am saying,” he said.
