Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has demanded that the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly be replaced.

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary, while reacting to the Lahore High Court’s decision to de-notify the 43 members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Assembly, said that the Speaker should maintain a modicum of democracy and the notification to change the leader of the opposition. Going to court for everything is not a good parliamentary practice.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar also reacted to the Lahore High Court’s suspension of the Election Commission’s order and said the court suspended the Speaker’s decision on political grounds.

Asad Umar wrote on the social media website Twitter that the membership of 43 MNAs of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has been restored, prepare to vacate the room of Leader of the Opposition Raja Riaz.

It should be noted that the Lahore High Court has suspended the order to accept the resignation of members of the National Assembly of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf and by-elections in 43 constituencies have been stopped until the second.
