ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Petroleum Mossadegh Malik has again clarified that there is no shortage of petrol and diesel in the country, but there are people who are hoarding oil for extra income, which the government will take action on. According to private TV, in response to the increasing demand and shortage of petroleum products in the country, Mossadegh Malik said that they are ensuring the supply of oil and gas to the people.
The country has 20 days of gasoline and 30 days of diesel. He warned that few store petroleum products for manipulation, they will cancel the license of such people and companies, when the state acts, then you will have news conferences. Hoarders are asked to stop or there will be a loss. He said, oil hoarders realize that petrol and diesel will be expensive, the government has no intention of raising the price of oil. Mossadegh Malik said that the government is taking steps to improve the country’s economy, people will be happy with the economic development, the government’s job is to create facilities for the people. It should be noted that pump owners in various parts of Punjab have closed petrol pumps or limited the quantity of oil supply due to the price hike. Noticing the shortage of petroleum products in Punjab, Chairman Ogra directed the Chief Secretary to take action against such petrol pumps.
