National Assembly Special Committee on Retrenched Employees Chairman Qadir Mandukhel directed the Establishment Division to immediately remove the heads of PIA and Civil Aviation from their positions.
At the direction of Qadir Mandukhel, the secretary of the employee rehabilitation committee sent a letter to the relevant institutions.
According to the post, Qadir Mandukhel ordered the removal of PIA CEO Air Marshal Amir Hayat and CHRO Amir Altaf along with DGCAA Haqan Murtaza and Secretary CAA from their posts.
Apart from this, the committee also ordered the immediate restoration of benefits for all employees since 2008. The committee also called for a progress report at its February 13 meeting.
It is already written in the post that the committee has also moved a privilege motion against all the officials.
The committee directed DGFIA to implement the order of January 21. In this order, it was asked to register a case against CEOPIA and DGCAA.
The committee ordered the reinstatement of 412 employees, including 250 CAA dismissals, and 840 PIA employees sacked on fake degree charges.
It should be noted that PIA has issued 840 of the fake degrees as per Supreme Court order.
