According to the report, there was a loss of 1 billion annually due to non-operation of e-challaning cameras.
Sources say that the government was repeatedly informed by the Safe Cities Authority, but due to the government’s delay in dealing with the foreign company, the loss reached 1 billion.
According to the data released by the authorities, since the start of e-challaning, more than 8 million e-challans worth more than 2 billion 90 crores have been issued, but there is a decline in e-challaning due to malfunctions in cameras .
Sources further said that operational and maintenance matters with the foreign company are in final stages.
