Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Quetta Garrison.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Quetta Garrison where the Army Chief visited the memorial of the martyrs and laid wreaths.
The ISPR said the army chief interacted with the officers and men while appreciating the help and assistance of the provincial government during the floods.
The ISPR also says that the Army Chief also inaugurated the Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Cardiology Institute in Quetta, the Cardiology Institute in Quetta has been established in collaboration with the UAE.
According to ISPR, on the occasion of the visit, the Army Chief conferred the Star of Quaid-e-Azam on behalf of the President on behalf of the President and also visited the Command and Staff College and the School of Infantry and Tactics.
On this occasion, the Army Chief said that the Balochistan Corps had provided excellent support to the provincial government during the recent floods.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa further said that the first 120-bed cardiac facility established in Quetta with the support of United Arab Emirates, the Cardiology Institute will provide treatment facilities to the people of Balochistan and Quetta.
