London (Daily Pakistan Online) A British court has sentenced a former officer of the London Metropolitan Police Force to 30 years in prison for raping a dozen women.
According to private TV Dawn News, Judge Cheema Garb convicted police officer David Carrick of 71 sexual offenses against 12 women, including 48 counts of rape. Carrick, 48, is a member of Britain’s largest police force and will spend 30 years in prison.
Judge Cheema Garb, while pronouncing the sentence, said Carrick subjected the women to sexual desire by showing extreme cruelty.
