9 Kashmiri martyrs in 2 days, Pakistan demands notice from international community

ISLAMABAD: A Foreign Office spokesman has said that India has martyred nine Kashmiris in the last two days, adding that the international community should take notice of India’s human rights violations.

According to details, Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmad while giving a briefing on Saturday congratulated the Sikh community on the occasion of Baba Guru Nanak’s birthday and said that on short notice Pakistan opened Kartarpur Corridor.

The spokesperson said that besides Kartarpur, pilgrims are also coming from Wagah border. In this regard, various functions were organized by the High Commission in New Delhi.

Aasam Iftikhar Ahmed said that atrocities continue in Indian occupied Kashmir, India martyred 9 Kashmiris in last 2 days, Pakistan strongly condemns extrajudicial killings in occupied Kashmir and salutes Kashmiris who stand FGNdly in front of India. ۔

The Foreign Office spokesman said that Pakistan would continue to provide political, diplomatic and moral support to the Kashmiris and the international community should take notice of India’s human rights violations.

He further added that the US State Department rejects its observation on religious freedom, adding that Pakistan and US are holding constructive talks on the issue while the BJP government in India is crucifying religious freedom.

A Foreign Office spokesman told a media briefing that the act was passed in accordance with the International Court of Justice’s decision in the Clubbhushan case. “Our position in this regard is very clear. We reject Indian reports regarding other uses of the bill.

Asim Iftikhar further said that the visit of Chief Minister of Indian Punjab is not official. All pressure was on India to open Kartarpur corridor.

He said that there are about 600 Indian prisoners in Pakistan while they are closely watching the situation in Ethiopia. There are about 200 Pakistanis residing in Ethiopia and our mission and embassy are in touch with them.
